Covian Physical Therapy and Wellness was developed to deliver one on one quality care.  Whether you are a new mom, have small children at home, are recovering from surgery or do not feel safe to go into a clinic at this time my goal is to remove those barriers and help you go back to doing what is important.

Telehealth PT has many useful applications, and most people will have great success with it.  However, some people would benefit from in-person visits more than others.  As all my telehealth patients will undergo a thorough screening and examination, I will determine the best course of care for each person.  If the patient is not appropriate for telehealth PT the appropriate referral will be made. Please schedule your free discovery call to find out if you are appropriate.

Telehealth is now a covered service provided by Medicare and commercial insurances.

At this time I am not accepting Medicare or insurances but are in the process to be in the network soon. Covian Physical Therapy and Wellness is a cash-based business.  I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

All telehealth sessions are conducted through fully encrypted networks on my end and meets all HIPAA standards.  Sessions may be recorded for quality purposes, however will never do so without your your consent.

How can physical therapists treat patients online?

When people think of physical therapy they think that it is mostly a ‘hands on’ profession. However, a vast majority of common injuries and chronic complaints can be treated effectively with no manual intervention whatsoever.

Working with you through webforms, video consultations, and lots of Q&A time, I can uniquely assess your condition and develop  a plan of care specific to your needs.

Physical therapy no longer relies on complex machines and manual techniques, and is trending towards guided treatment plans and informed self-care.. Diagnostic and treatment methods for common injuries and complaints are readily applicable in online consultations, and there is extensive research to support evidence of online treatment success.
